Pat Sharkey (CC '73), now a partner in the Business Transactions section of Jackson Walker, LLP, has frequently been chosen by his peers as a Super Lawyer, appearing in Texas Monthly. He has 30 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, frequently writing and speaking about hot issues such as "How Alligators Hidden in Leases Can Eat a Client's Bottom Line."
Pat and his wife Mary have three children graduating this year--two from college and one from high school. His wife Mary got to conquer her pancreatic cancer as featured patient on Houston Medical, but Pat thinks she ought to be famous for a less stressful reason. They live on the west side of Houston, not too far off Memorial Drive.
Pat's co-worker and fellow alum Tom Adolph, (Law '81) shares that Pat worked his way through Columbia as a NYC cab driver and still parks like one(!) As president of the Irish Society, he supports knowledge of and partying in the Irish traditions. In 2000, he ran the New York City Marathon.
We'd all like to thank Pat for being such a big supporter of our alumni club, sponsoring meetings and staying connected.
