On August 22, 2009, Sue Ann Strauss and Gerald Bodzy graciously opened their home for a
New Student Reception. Among the new admits to Columbia College and the engineering school
was their daughter Rachel Bodzy. About 10 of the 24 admitted students attended. A pair of current
college students provided an orientation, and Brian Swain ran a trivia contest to help introduce them to Columbia lore.
