The
August “Westside” *InterClub Happy Hour is hosted by Cornell and will be held
at Fleming’s Steakhouse. A Cornell alumna, Laura Gilliam, is the Private
Dining Director at Fleming’s Town and Country and we are grateful for her
assistance in setting up this event. Our recent happy hours were very

Columbia and MIT are hosting a
special “Forty Plus” *InterClub Social on Tuesday, August 11. The Houston *InterClub happy
hours have been wildly successful since January 2007 and the *InterClub has now
grown to include twenty two schools! Although the happy hours have
been geared towards recent graduates, alumni from all decades are welcome (and
quite a few of us from the “older decades” do regularly participate!). We
have received feedback from several schools that a social event for the “forty
plus” age group would be well received and that is how this event was
conceived.
We
have selected The Tasting Room in Uptown
Park for our inaugural
“Forty Plus” *InterClub Social and we look forward to seeing you there!
As
always, alumni from all decades are welcome!
